After quitting his job at a steel mill in the Midwest, winemaker Brennan Stover started anew on the Central Coast, working his way up in the Paso Robles wine industry. Eventually, Brennan was able to purchase a plot of land in the well-regarded Adelaida district of Paso. He planted his stakes and started again. A new beginning, Chapter 1.
Inspired by the dramatic storytelling of a graphic novel, these labels feature steel mills looming in the background as the man in the foreground breaks free from his chains. They show Brennan's transformation from steelworker to winemaker and the blood, sweat, tears that he's put into forging a new life. The paper is a full wraparound with embossing for added texture and depth. A spot varnish on the black ink gives the illusion of wet tar, adding to the dramatic effect of this two-toned label.
