Corralejo Tequila

Tequila Advertising & Brand Campaigns

Corralejo Tequila is crafted with more than 250 years of history and is deeply rooted in the heritage of the Hacienda Corralejo in Guanajuato, Mexico. Known for its bold personality, iconic bottle silhouette, and vibrant flavor story, Corralejo has long been recognized as a tequila brand that celebrates tradition with modern energy. Collaborating with the Corralejo team gave us the opportunity to reimagine the brand essence through tequila advertising that showcases its authentic roots while elevating its presence among today’s consumers.

Our work focused on refreshing Corralejo’s brand identity, strengthening product storytelling, and developing creative that celebrates both the craft behind the tequila and the culture that inspires it. Through a full brand restructuring—spanning strategy, digital presence, photography, video, packaging assets, and social—we helped shape a visual world that honors Mexican tequila heritage while making the brand more confident, expressive, and competitive across the U.S. market.

Branding

Strategy & Identity

Working closely with the Corralejo team, we uncovered a disconnect between how consumers—especially younger audiences—perceived the brand and the authentic story behind it. Many drinkers recognized Corralejo as a traditional Mexican tequila but weren’t sure how to place it on the quality scale. Through strategic messaging and refreshed tequila advertising, we repositioned Corralejo around authenticity, quality, and confidence. This approach helped the brand stand apart from the crowded tequila category and increased resonance with Millennials and Gen Z consumers.

Packaging

Brand Assets

We developed retail and packaging assets that amplify Corralejo’s distinctive bottle shape and emphasize key quality markers, including its use of 100% blue weber agave. These attention-grabbing displays and brand tools reinforced Corralejo’s presence at shelf while aligning with the broader tequila advertising direction—bold, iconic, and unmistakably rooted in heritage.

Digital

Website Design

The redesigned Corralejo website uses layered video, styled photography, and dynamic scrolling effects to highlight the tequila’s versatility. This digital environment supports the broader tequila advertising strategy by showcasing mixology, heritage, and craft in a modern, immersive format.

Photo & Video

Content is how people experience a brand. The primary goal of our studio photography & videography was to create a mixology-inspired universe through the lens of the Corralejo brand. Whether you're ordering a shot of Silver, a Reposado craft cocktail, or two fingers of Añejo, this world is all about helping the consumer understand what it means to celebrate the flavor of Mexico.

Social Media

Our strategy for Corralejo's official US social profiles was to not only show the product and its incredible versatility across many occasions, but also to educate followers on where it comes from and how it's made. Opportunities to show the details of the estate-grown blue weber agave, the double distillation process, and the historical Hacienda Corralejo itself complete the full story of the brand. The result celebrates the authenticity of Corralejo while building a social following around tequila mixology culture.
